Vimto is a soft drink that is manufactured in Manchester. The original recipe was invented in 1908 by (John) Noel Nichols. Vimto is currently available in sixty-five countries and the number of countries in which it is on sale is growing.
Vimto approached Make Events to support them on their all-employee conference. Their vision was to create a forward-thinking environment that was inspiring and engaging for their 300 guests.
Make Events managed the conference and gala dinner theming, staffing and conference content, keeping it consistent and on brand.
We created a stage set with white industrial cages and a neon Vimto sign. This was heightened for the gala dinner in the evening, adding LED batons. A bespoke made photobooth with a 4ft Slushee cup and a branded shopping trolley and disco balls was also made for guests to pose with.
Vimto launched a new internal system at the conference which we loaded onto iPads on each of the tables so that delegates could get familiar with it and use it to send communications up to the main screen.
For the gala dinner we installed a white branded dancefloor and made cocktails that had a Vimto twist – The 1908 and Vimtini. We did a prior menu tasting to ensure the Vimto theme ran throughout.
“You were amazing as expected and I loved working with you all – I just can’t wait to do bigger and better and keep hopefully wowing everyone in years to come with your assistance!”
