THE CHALLENGE

We were tasked with finding a unique location for overseas incentives where the aim was to network and unwind. The requirements of the trip included a meeting space and five star dining throughout the trip.

The challenge here was finding a city that ticked all of their boxes whilst also being a new and exciting experience for all attendees.

OUR SOLUTION

The company enlisted the help of Make Events to tap into our expertise and network of overseas suppliers.

Dubrovnik was chosen because the guests were well travelled and wanted to go somewhere different. The Croatian city is a fairly new cosmopolitan destination and a beautiful location for a few days away.

The experience began when guests arrived at Manchester Airport to board a private jet straight to Dubrovnik. When they stepped off the plane, they were greeted by a driver at the private terminal and were transferred from the airport in Mercedes E Class Cars, taking the scenic route along the coast.

Hotel Villa Orsula was chosen due to its ultra-stylish look and five-star concierge service – all in a glorious seaside setting with views of nearby Dubrovnik Old Town and the Adriatic.

Lunch and their afternoon meeting was on the exclusive Villa Agave Private Terrace, with the evening meal at Nautika.

Day two meant a morning meeting and a walking tour of Dubrovnik to incorporate the history of Modern Dubrovnik and the Yugoslav War.

Then, it was dinner at Takenoko and a VIP Night club reservation made at Culture Club Revelin.

On day three, the guests boarded a private yacht with no idea of where they were going next. Following a tour of Dubrovnik from the water, reservations were made for lunch at Villa Ruža on the Island of Koločep.

After dinner, transfers were pre-arranged to drop at the Dubrovnik Airport Private Terminal to board their signature private jet home.

THE RESULTS

The event was a huge success and the team returned rejuvenated. They wanted a trip that would be productive as well as relaxing, with everything organised so they wouldn’t have to worry. Make Events ensured every concern was taken care of to create the perfect incentive.
